This is more than just music; it's terrifying, transcendental alchemy! How on earth did you learn to arrange and play songs at this Olympian level? I've been trying to do the same thing on my Yamaha LL16-12 string. I suspect you've had lessons and then figured out the rest by your superb ear. But if there's any instructional books or DVDs you'd recommend, please do. If I had a soul to sell at the crossroads, I would.

I've been playing acoustic guitar -- both six and twelve-strings -- for almost 30 years. This performance is one of my favorite acoustic instrumental interpretations of a popular song I've ever heard. When people arrange a song for solo fingerstyle, it usually sounds like elevator music, no matter how technically accomplished the player is. I don't know how you avoided that pitfall or if it can even be taught. Your interpretation communicates more to me than David Bowie's or Nirvana's version. Thanks for sharing your talent and showing people what an acoustic 12-string can do!
